hello hello, i'm mudit
B.S. cognitive science | UCLA '27
I'm passionate about the interaction between design and communities, exploring how creative problem solving can create real impact and bring people together.
I'm obsessed with the internet. The DIY era of youtube made me curious. Initially starting with duct tape wallets, I jumped to rainbow loom, 3D printing, electric skateboards, gaming and streaming, custom mechanical keyboards, YouTube, sports and concert photography, worked in music, and have completed a bunch of other side quests in between.
some more
I was on the junior national team for table tennis, competing internationally. In 9th grade, my obsession with fortnite led me to streaming on twitch. I wanted to make graphics so I learned picsart. I was chronically on twitter, posting designs and learning from youtube and twitter friends. I loved creating and was shocked to have people commission me for projects. I gained opportunities to work part time with gaming peripheral companies, made a ton of gaming products with some cool collabs for NBA players and big influencers/creators.
Whilst designing and streaming, I got into the world of custom keyboards. I spent hours modding my current boards, understanding different parts, making friends both online and eventually at in-person meetups. Used some of that design money to buy my first camera and started creating youtube videos! Just wanted to make fun and informative content like my favorite creators (TaeKeyboards, Taeha Types, :3ildcat). Got really in depth, amassing 8,000 subscribers and 1M+ views.
Making videos and designing cool things was fun. 12th grade, I wanted to learn camera work more and sports photography, just bringing it in to basketball games and acting like I knew what I was doing. My baseball team hired me for the year. I went to my first concert April 2023 (keshi, worked for his label later) and fell in love with live music. Saw a bunch of photographers up front and felt like I wanted to learn, went down a TikTok rabbit hole on how to obtain concert credentials. Shot my first show the summer after high school, loved it too much. Started working consistently with Goldenvoice directly photographing shows for iconic venues like Regency Ballroom, The Fonda, The Roxy, Shrine Expo Hall. Also independently connected with artists like Malcom Todd, Omar Apollo, Chase Shakur.

i'm part of

UCLA Campus Events Commission
Director of Media Production
I organize event coverage, producing photo and video content for the most established student ran media organization at UCLA, working with my wonderful team of 12 to document concerts, speaker events, and everything in between! Contributed heavily to our internal yearbook with my design background. Some of my favorite concerts I've shot for CEC include Doechii at Bruin Bash, UMI at our first annual Matsuri, Yves Tumor at Hammer Museum, and Orion Sun at Hammer Museum.
